This project involved the upgrading of a PC-based utility that supports a family of Hand-Held machine diagnostic tools.  The customer wanted to manage the distribution of Hand-Held revisions from a corporate server rather than having to distribute DVDs globally to update the customer owned PCs. 

Here are the project highlights:

• Utilizes a standard FTP corporate server with standard file transfer protocols
• Communicates with the Hand_Held diagnostic tool via an RS-232 serial interface 
• Supports multiple versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems on the customer PC
• Developed in Microsoft C++ Version 6.0
